Keepsake CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our Keepsakes from our horses are very precious and should be treated as such. We have taken every effort to help ensure they will hold up to everyday wear. Please remember that the keepsakes are one of a kind and handmade from natural materials. More Than A Horse Keepsakes is not responsible for wear and tear damage caused by not adhering to the keepsake code of care.
CODE of CARE
Apply cosmetics, hair products, lotions, perfumes and powder prior to wearing your Keepsake
Prevent your keepsakes from being exposed to moisture
Keep Keepsakes out of direct sunlight
Keep Keepsakes away from harsh chemicals and cleaners
Keepsakes may be polished with a soft dry cloth
Inlay rings and cuffs may be gold or silver plated and plating can wear off and tarnish over time due to O2 and natural body oils. Even sterling silver tarnishes. To reduce this, store jewelry in a sealed bag or box in a dry dark cool place
Avoid wearing your keepsakes next to other jewelry. This can cause scratches on the metal and snags to the horsehair. If you see a piece of hair that is broken; do not pull, just clip with fingernail clippers
Horsehair in Inlay rings cuffs, earrings, pendents, are sealed for extra protection
Our Keepsakes from our horses are very precious. Treat them as you would any other fine piece of jewelry with the special care that they deserve
